Here is Sierra-as lovely and poised as ever. I connected with her through Instagram, by mutual friends, and she came through even in the pouring rain. I mean, as soon as I pulled out the garage to make my way to the photo shoot it poured–like a monsoon. It was so crazy. I wanted to stretch those creative muscles of mine and as always, I never regret it. Glad we went through with it. The rain stopped about 10 minutes in to the shoot and we made our way outdoors.
My 28mm lens came in the same day even though I hadn’t planned on using it specifically with this shoot. And if you read my post with Margaret at Westside, you know that I’ve fallen in love with the 28mm lens. It’s an amazing lens. Sharp and still soft enough for portraits. Just look at the black and whites of Sierra!
The rain did leave it’s prints. I love it though! The droplets on the window and this simple, but stunning pose held perfectly by Sierra. I’m looking forward to hanging out with this cool lady again. Yes we will shoot again!
