Margaret at Westside Provisions | Atlanta Film Photographer

I’ve been eyeing the 28mm for the Contax G1 for a little while now. I just had to add this lens to my line up after coming home from our pacific coast trip. I knew better than to travel without a wide angle lens but I was kind of saving my money to spend on the trip (sigh). Now that I’ve gotten to shoot with it…I think I’ll just have to make another California trip and do it all over again!

I know Margaret through Shannon (we work together at Little Barn Apothecary) and turns out, Margot is Chelsey’s cousin! Small world eh-oh man you guys, Margot killed this session and considering how last minute this was! I can’t thank her enough. And the verdict? I LOVE this 28mm lens!

I also tried Kodak Tmax 3200 for the first time. I’m a lover of film grain in black in white! I’m feeling this stock for sure. Between HP5 400 Plus, I still love HP5 more. These are two different stocks and in my opinion the shadows and highlights are totally different. I like my blacks, black and my highlights, well bright. I really enjoyed getting back out there and just shooting for fun, trying out new things, new film stocks and challenging myself to shoot at Westside Provisions without it looking like Westside Provisions ha ha! Thank goodness for Brash Coffee!
