This February has been filled with some of the most bipolar weather we’ve experienced in a while. One week we’ll have warm spring weather, the next we’ll have freezing cold weather with morning snow and not even a few days later, we’re back to an Autumn breeze. Yeah that has been our February. So sitting here today with this dreary rain I decided to pull out this collaboration I did with Whitewood Events a few years ago. I think it’s been a few years–I lose track! This branding shoot was taken to include Whitewood Event’s intern. It was something new at the time, where the team took in a summer intern and I was happy to have provided them with updated photos.
This was such a beautiful and simple setup the team created. And as you can see, we took photos in warm weather! True to Georgia, our Fall at the time felt like it was still summer. But the team stuck with Autumn colors of deep reds, burnt orange and a beautiful French blue.
What I love about this shoot is how simple the ladies made this look. For an intimate gathering, perhaps a Friendsgiving, styling the table in this fashion is totally doable wouldn’t you agree?
I also love this collaboration because it highlights the amazing talent of all the ladies. It’s not often you get behind the scenes photos, and good ones at that. I know, the shoot was still in a control environment with more flexibility to ‘pose’ for the camera but on a real event day, the details still come together just like the photos displayed here. I love shooting for small business entrepreneurs and being able to help them capture the essence of their brand. It’s important for small businesses like ourselves to have updated headshots and what I call ‘instagram fillers’ for days when you want to post a Friday Introduction or maybe even a candid shot of being in your element. So hey, if you’re in need of some new photos–do it! I’d love to help! Lets chat!
