Emma and Joe’s wedding was at the Georgian Hall in Athens Georgia–classic and romantic! Their wedding was nothing short of amazing and full of heart felt moments and roaring laughter. As soon as I arrived to Hotel Indigo, where Emma prepped for the day, I walked in to the jamming tune of Valerie. And the speaker they played it on was a vintage style looking radio and I was in love! Was it the first photo I snapped? You bet it was. I also joined Whitney of Whitewood Events so I knew the day was going to be AMAZING. An overflowing handful of my favorite parts of the day…
I love these Jimmy Choo flats! Ladies who are able to rock heels on the dance floor always gets an applaud from me but rocking stylish flats also gets my thumbs up. Details that made up Emma’s getting ready portion of the day also included a monogramed ring box and crystal tumblers (later to be used during their cake cutting).
European Floral Designs makes simplicity look so divine! Greenery that trailed up alongside the window frame made a beautiful, light and airy backdrop for Emma and Joe’s nuptials. A special touch included this vintage rug to add charm and a unique ceremony space.
Oh Emma!!! You are absolutely stunning in your Jenny Packham gown! I was blown away at the intricate details and the unique vintage styles.
I think the best way to do a sparkler exit is to always return back through the aisle (much to everyone’s surprise) and end with your favorite song, singing at the top of your lungs. Emma and Joe went back through the line but not singing, instead chanting and showing their loyalty to the city of Athens. Congrats Emma and Joe!
