Sweet Family Session at Garrard Landing Park | Johns Creek | Atlanta Family Photographer

Getting to photograph Gracie and her family was such an honor and joy. I’m so in love with this collection. When Gracie (of Gracie Blue Photography) reached out and said she wanted photos of her sweet new baby girl, I was so touched. Not only did I get to meet Julia Paisley, but I got to see Gracie. Gracie and I were both pregnant at the start of the pandemic so we couldn’t really hangout and I know she was just as cautious as I was about going out so we hardly went anywhere! It was so good to see her and to see how well everyone has been doing.

I love seeing how much love Paisley gets from everyone. She’s just the sweetest! And I mean, she’s just the sweetest. She remained asleep the entire time. She was so good! It’s not often that I photograph a family session with a one month old where there isn’t any fussing or having to take longer breaks.

One of the perks of photographing another photographer is getting to explore through their eyes. I’ve been to Garrard Landing Park before (also known as the Johns Creek Environmental Campus) but I’ve yet to walk the whole grounds. So it was a treat getting to see new spots and sceneries. Gracie showed me some of her favorite areas when she brings her clients here and I’m so glad we were able to get these favorite spots for herself and the family.

Riley has gotten so tall and she absolutely adores her baby sister. I asked her how it was like being a big sister and she said “good!” with a big smile. Good answer Riley, you’re such a sweetheart.

Congratulations again to this beautiful family! I’m so glad to have been able to document such a special time for them.
