Oh Baby Maternity Studio Portraits | Atlanta Film Photography

My friend Leilani and her husband Daniel are expecting a little babe (aka Bébé). I was so excited to hear the news and knew immediately I wanted to document this special moment for them. I mean, how could I not when Leilani and I are (will always be) photography BFFs (#noielle). I love how Leilani always incorporates some sparkly so when she told me she was bringing confetti for the announcement/maternity session I knew it would be a fun “experiment”.

Oh my goodness look at this beautiful soon to be Mama! I actually attended her Safari-themed baby shower last weekend and she had that pregnancy glow. Even though half her face was hidden behind a mask (safety first) she was still glowing. We’re only five weeks away from her due date so it won’t be long before we get to say hello to her Bébé.

I absolutely love these studio portraits and had a blast doing this for them. I even got to play with her Super 8 camera for the first time (fingers crossed I got some good snippets of them) which was a lot of fun and so so different. Photography and videography is not the same y’all. Anyway, I’m also so glad we got to use my custom DIY blue/green canvas backdrop in the studio. It’s such a beautiful color and complimented their outfits so well.

Leilani had the coolest take home party favors (I wouldn’t have expected anything less) giving guests a bottle of Bourbon or Prosecco. So when baby arrives, we’re popping bottles y’all! Hey Bébé!!! I can’t wait to meet you soon! And CHEERS to the parents to be!
