When you hit the big 3-0 you have to go all out and do a photoshoot! Yes yes yes! So of course when Sierra asked me to photograph her birthday shoot I agreed.

For this Thirtieth Birthday Shoot in Decatur Atlanta, I teamed up with one of my favorite people, Robyn Cason of The Haus of Fluff. With Robyn’s magically touch, I knew she would kill it with the makeup and that it would really make Jay Godfrey NYC’s Mandalay Gown shine! I mean, just look at this beautiful shade of purple!

I just died. I can’t stop gawking at this beautiful imagery of the lovely and poised Sierra.

When it comes to assisting in wardrobe, I love having my hands on it and giving guidance to color, textures and how well a certain piece will look through the lens. I laid eyes on this gown and knew Sierra would rock this. I’ll say over and over again, I’m just in awe of this photoshoot and still can’t believe that it happened!

This birthday shoot really hit the spot for me, creatively. I’m so grateful Sierra thought of me and asked me to join her in this vision. She’s a great friend and I consider her one of my prayer warriors. Sierra is quite an amazing gal. She’s easy going and fun to be with too. She has such a demeanor that makes you feel calm and relax (one of the main reasons I trust her immensely when it comes to praying). She’s a beauty, inside and out!

I should mention this photoshoot happened in December of last year and the weather leading up to it was like 70 something. But then on the day of the shoot it was in the mid forties!!! Goodness Georgia. It did warm up by the time we got to shooting. Right now warmer weather has definitely arrived again so seeing this shoot makes me want to get out to the tall grassy field and create some more magic!
