Family Session at Roswell Mill | Atlanta Lifestyle Photographer

It’s been quite a long time since I visited Roswell Mill Park. And even though I photographed there plenty of times, I still haven’t really explored the whole area! I love it when couples plan their session to reflect their personality, like Maureen and Andrew. I photographed their engagement session (back back then) at the Environmental Center along the Chattahoochee and then I photographed their intimate wedding at a private lake house. And now that their family has expanded, I just photographed their session at Roswell Mill, along the waters. Maureen and Andrew are so down to earth and I think it’s so fitting that their theme is one of nature’s elements, the most calming of all, water.

What’s funny though is that their handsome boy, Finland (aka Finn), has all the energy of the world. He also is quite the escape artist! I think it made the session a unique one and made for lots of fun photos!

I really enjoyed catching up with Maureen and Andrew. Also, getting to meet Finn. I loved their Fall wardrobe selection and since Finn was so stylish, I had to go out and find similar burgundy pants. I went to two different Targets to find Brayden a pair and it was the last one! I really think baby boy clothes should have more attention cause there’s not a lot of selections out there. Not only did I take inspiration from Finn’s fashion, I also heeded gear recommendations from Maureen. Like, Maureen and Andrew are the coolest parents ever! They have everything! All the fun outdoor stuff, traveling must haves, and so on! I’m all ears cause it’s been so long between Jordan and Brayden and now-a-days, there’s just so much stuff for babies it can be overwhelming. So I really appreciated everything Maureen had to share!

Right at the end, Maureen and Andrew let Finn dip his hands in the waters. Boy did that make him so happy! I can tell this kiddo is going to love outdoor adventures just like his parents! I can’t wait to see and hear all about their experience and also take in more advice from Maureen. I’m already planning for our first camping trip in Spring. And if this cute family experiences it first, I want to hear all about!!!

It’s always a pleasure getting to photograph my wedding clients when they have growing families. Especially now that I’m taking more sessions rather than weddings! So if you need your own family session, get in touch!!!
