Darling One Month Session | Atlanta Lifestyle Photographer

Did you all know I take on one month old sessions? Well I do! I don’t necessarily take on newborns which to me is the first couple weeks but I absolutely photograph one month olds. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to photograph my former partner in crime, Leilani and her newest addition, baby Jules.

Like most moms, Leilani and I talked talked about our experiences on that first couple weeks being home with a brand new baby and how tiring it was. I still envy those who bounce back so quickly, like as they are leaving the hospital! But for Leilani and I, trying to photograph our little babes on week one was quite the challenge. Somehow our stories on the first week(s) home was interestingly similar, where we only got mostly iphone pics.

I’m so glad I was able to do this for Leilani and her beautiful family. Even Dani and Phil, their fur babies, got in the photos. Well, we forced Phil BUT, and this is a big BUT, when Phil was able to leave the room, he did pause and glance back, which I hear he doesn’t do quite often. Maybe he’ll warm up eventually, if I keep coming back lol. Dani on the other hand, warmed up immediately. She is so cute!!! And I loved having her in the photos as she watched her baby sis getting so much attention.

I love a good aesthetic nursery y’all! Loved the mid-century wild safari vibe going on here. When it was time for an outfit change, I also got to go through Jules’ collection and little missy is the fashionista. I love but kind of hate how baby girls get all the cute clothes!!!

It so happens that this past weekend Jules and Brayden finally got to meet! We made sure we got photos of the two and of course with us Mamas. I’m so looking forward to our babies playing together! I’m still waiting on Leilani to come up with a mash up of the babies names lol.

During Brayden’s party Jules was so vocal! Only after her nap though. Maybe she sensed that I wanted to do photos so she made sure to let me know that her time was precious. Already quite the queen lol.

You guys, how perfect is Mama and Dada with sweet baby Jules? I am totally swooning over these two images (well all of the photos but especially this here (above). Baby girl is so loved and she knows it!!!

Before the session came to an end we did step outside to snag a few photos on the porch. It was the perfect way to wrap it up having mama and dada cuddle and slow dance!

Welcome to the world baby Jules! Stay wild and I know you’ll keep your parents on their toes! I’ll hear all about it when your mama and I get together. We may have to make it a wind down wine night lol.
