Beautiful Backyard Family Session | Atlanta Family Photographer

I love when work opens the door to new friendships, like this beautiful family session in one of the prettiest backyards that I’ve seen. I had the opportunity to meet Shalom and her family through photography and now our baby boys have play dates!

When Shalom first inquired I remember immediately relating to having an infant (8 month old at the time). So I know the importance of having photos done during this stage of life. I mean, from the moment your baby is born and as they grow into toddlerhood, it’s this stage of life that is so fleeting. Documenting is necessary! Capturing all those special moments and all that growth that’s going to happen.

Shalom’s family session wasn’t the typical lifestyle session. She included her entire family which consisted of her in-laws… which also meant more little ones!

It was so fun getting to see all the kids run around! I couldn’t help but smile inside knowing that soon my little Bray Bray would be running around chasing his cousins soon. In the blink of an eye your infant goes from crawling to walking to running.

Truth be told, this session was taken last year but I’m just now getting around to blogging the session. We’ve had playdates and even an outing at the Strawberry field as of now lol. And our little boys are already about to turn two!!!

This is why photography is so important. As my own little guy is nearing his two year birthday I can’t help but reminisce on photos and see how much growth has happen in one year. And I know parents all get that sentimental feel when their babies are no longer babies.

I also loved meeting Shalom’s in-laws! I especially loved her mother in law who was so engaged in the shoot. She is her own vibe and I loved it!!! It’s always a successful session when everyone is into the shoot.

What a beautiful family! Both Shalom’s and all her in-laws. It’s always fun hanging out with Shalom and her little ones, Taylor and Asher. Even though it’s been a bit harder now that I have Nova and she’s only two months at the moment, but I always look forward to when Brayden and Asher can play together again. I’m so thankful for sessions like this when clients turn into friends. Making new friends is always a good thing especially when you have little ones that are the same age! Thank you Shalom for having me photograph your family and I’m so grateful we’ve become friends AND that our little boys are also friends!
