Early Morning Indoor Session With The Kids | Atlanta Lifestyle Photographer

It’s true that every child is different with very distinct personalities. My Brayden is not usually a morning person and my babygirl Nova is your typical morning person and always on the dot. During the planning stages of the photo session we agreed on a morning session and it totally made sense. In the morning time the kids are just getting up and most likely excited for the day anticipating what events will unfold. They’re full of energy and curiosity. By afternoon time most kids are quite grumpy wanting their nap but refusing to settle down.

Many parents will groan at the thought of having to get up early and get all the kids ready (me included) so I was highly impressed at Amanda and John for having it all together that early.

When I arrived I couldn’t help but ask Amanda how in the world does she keep her home so clean with four kids, two of them being a set of twins. Jack and Scarlett greeted me with big smiles and the first thing Scarlett asked was if I wanted to see her room which I happily replied “Of course!” I loved touring the house all thanks to Scarlett. Right away she engaged me in conversation with her natural charm to host.

Throughout the home session we hung around the bedroom and the family’s favorite spot near the big windows and the white comfy chairs.

With any full session with children there’s always a need for a small break. During our break time the kiddos had a snack and sweet Scarlett plopped herself in her favorite rocking chair. She also made sure I knew that it was her favorite chair so I had to snap a photo of her in her space.

There were many favorite spots in the entire home and it was so fun watching the kids get excited and sharing with me why they love these things so much. I just love a home indoor session and getting to engage with families in their most comfortable environment.

Children are such a blessing and I’m so grateful to have been able to spend such a lovely morning with The Patchoskis. Thank you for having me guys!
