Elizabeth and Dennis mixed together their asian traditions with a chic industrial modern design that was executed seamlessly! When it comes to traditions–and Asian ones–it’s pretty much an ALL DAY event. From the start of hair and make up, the asian tea ceremony, feeding and honoring the guests and then the American wedding ceremony can finally be underway.
The wedding ceremony itself was held at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers Georgia. From there we made our way to the super chic Foundry at Puritan Mill. I love this wedding venue and millions of ways it can be customized. A Sister’s Touch Event Planning & Florals did an amazing job with the lovely flowers and decor. This really was a super chic design! And I loved the custom backdrop Dennis had his hands on. Chic isn’t complete without one DIY project. We love fun backdrops (selfie time)!
Elizabeth and Dennis kept with customs by greeting guests at each table throughout their reception. One of the unique touches that included an Asian flare was serving Boba tea! I mean who doesn’t love boba tea!!! A fantastic idea indeed!
Elizabeth and Dennis were by far the most hospitable couple I’ve had the honor of photographing. Their desire to uphold the customs and traditions that the parents honor was so admirable. I applaud these two! It can get really hectic and overwhelming. Every detail from this wedding was perfection. Blush and navy blue details, rustic chic decor, instax fuji film for guests to help document the moments, DIY photobooth backdrop, asian cuisine serving 10 courses and most importantly–BOTTOMS UP!!! Y’all asian folks can drannnnnk! Elizabeth and Dennis went out in style walking hand in hand under led balloons. Their grand departure included a classic Bentley where we stopped to capture a few photos overlooking Atlanta.
