Nuptials On A Yacht | The Carolina Girl Events | A Charleston SC Wedding

It’s no secret that my favorite city is Charleston South Carolina. To say that I was super excited doesn’t even really describe how thrilled I was to hear that Danielle and Kerrington were going to tie the knot in my favorite city. The last time I visited Charleston was before covid so it has been a while. Charleston is still just as charming.

Sweet couple Danielle and Kerrington choose to exchange vows on a boat and take in the mesmerizing sunset. Who doesn’t love watching a sunset over waters? The couple also did a First Look and I’m so happy they went this route. I’ve always favored having a First Look because of it’s intimacy and allowing the soon to be newlyweds to have a special moment all to themselves.

Going with a minimal boho look, Danielle wore a beautiful layered dress with delicate sleeves that gently draped below her shoulders. We can all agree at just how beautiful Danielle is and her perfect dress just completed her beauty. Kerrington, all suave and dapper, wore a light and comfy ivory linen suit.

How beautiful is Danielle’s rose gold ring? Kerrington made sure to have the ring custom made where the diamond sat center of a rose, which symbolizes Danielle’s favorite flower.

You guys, this beautiful sunset, this golden hue that just glistens on the edges of the horizon–it takes your breath away. It is absolute perfection and I couldn’t have been happier with this collection of Mr. and Mrs. portraits. My heart danced for the couple as they snuck in sweet moments to watch the sunset in-between smiling for the camera.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Sky. What an honor it was to have been able to document your special day. I loved being able to witness the celebration. I just love how previously we’ve worked together on so many shoots and to have been able to do the most important shoot of all makes my heart happy and grateful. Thank you so so much!
