Sweet Family Session in The Village Green Marietta Georgia

You guys are probably familiar with my friend Steven Wallace of Steven Wallace Photography and from me raving so much about how smart and knowledgable he is in the analog community. Well I finally got to photograph his amazing family! We’re so blessed to be able to call Steven and Amanda friends so it was such a huge honor being able to document this beautiful family.

Steven and Amanda are locals to this spot in Smyrna, The Village Green. It only made sense to have the family photoshoot at this location. They take their daily walks here and have plenty of family time in this area. It’s nice being able to leave your house on foot and walking over to a local coffee shop and just hanging out on the lawn. I call this the simple life and by definition it’s joy and contentment. We don’t always have to be busy to feel fulfilled and we don’t always have to go far to experience an adventure.

Let me also introduce Jasper! The cool folks call him Jasperoni. He’s stylish, he’s curious, he’s got some fun quirks like his dad and I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a film nerd like his dad too. He’s got his mama’s sweet smile and I absolutely love that he resembles Jimmy Neutron. Steven and I talk about Jasper and Brayden hanging out one day but it’s been hard because of Rona. With us almost nearing the completion of our vaccines we’re hoping the play date will happen soon. I mean how cool would it be for our boys to hang out.

Steven and I probably won’t get much editing work done once we resume our usual coffee hangs while having the kids along but it’ll be it’s own kind of adventure. You can bet that the both of us will have our film camera stuck to the face documenting. What a funny sight to imagine!

It was such a pleasure being able to capture Steven’s family in their familiar surrounding. I would totally walk over on a daily basis if I were this close too. Plus, getting out safely during Rona was everyone’s challenge so what a treat to Steven and Amanda to have a hangout spot within walking distance. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your family Steven! It was so fun getting to hang out and catch up! I can’t wait for Jasper and Brayden to meet. Let’s get our film gear ready!
